I’ve heard so many things about about that sensation. The weird feeling that flatters your stomach and plays tricks with you tummy; infiltrating your brain and making you feel anxiety and happiness at the same. It’s what they call love. This word can shake the world; divide it into puzzles yet keeps it organized so that each puzzle can find its other half.
My mother taught me that love is something we don’t ask for, it’s merely something that grows inside our hearts toward people we think they matter throughout our lives. But life taught me otherwise. Love is consistent, you dear someone today but you cannot love him at the same time. Today, I love him and the next day I might grow to despise him. Today we had a fight and I hate every single molecule of his body. Will I still love him tomorrow? Yes, I will.
-So do you love me?
-No, Meriem. Not today.
Love can last eternity, it can be lost in one second be back the following one, and loses its path an hour afterwards. It depends on the time, on the place and on the circumstances. Even when it’s lost, its leftovers are still there, its mark is painted on the heart and the eyes are always searching for its glimpses.
So my child, never lose hope. Love is there, and hate is also there. Remember the day, ask before you proceed.
And today, I love you my child. ~
